OSTDB is a community-driven video game soundtrack database. Anyone can browse game soundtracks and find links to official streaming platforms such as Spotify and Apple Music. No account is required to use the Service.

Anyone can submit a new game soundtrack or propose an edit to an existing one through the OSTDB website. By submitting data, you confirm that:

• The information is accurate to the best of your knowledge.
• You are linking to official, publicly available streaming releases.

All submissions are reviewed manually before appearing on the site. We reserve the right to approve, reject, or modify any submission at our sole discretion.

Registered developers can access OSTDB data programmatically via the public API. By using the API, you agree to the following:

• You may display OSTDB data on your own website or application.
• Any public display of data obtained via the OSTDB API must include a visible attribution to OSTDB, such as "Powered by OSTDB" or "Data from ostdb.net", linking back to ostdb.net.
• You may cache API responses temporarily to improve performance of your application.
• You may not permanently store, replicate, or redistribute OSTDB data in a separate database, file, or any other persistent form intended to replace or mirror the API.
• API access may not be resold or sublicensed to third parties.
• We reserve the right to revoke API access at any time if these terms are violated.

• Do not attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or abuse the Service or its API.
• Do not scrape the website in a way that harms performance or violates these Terms.

OSTDB links to music on third-party platforms such as Spotify and Apple Music. Your use of those platforms is subject to their own terms of service. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or content of third-party platforms.

Game metadata is sourced from IGDB. Cover art and other media remain the property of their respective owners.

OSTDB claims no ownership over game titles, soundtrack names, cover art, or music. All trademarks and copyrights belong to their respective owners.

The OSTDB website design, logo, and codebase are the property of the operator.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or complete. Soundtrack availability on streaming platforms may change without notice.
